Monterey Bay Tai Chi for Health Community (MBTCHC) is an affiliate organization of the Tai Chi for Health Institute (TCHI) founded by Dr. Paul Lam. Our dedication to our students is rooted in mutual trust and respect. Our organization makes it a point to conduct classes with appropriate form modifications to allow persons with mobility limitations to benefit from the Play of Tai Chi. Our practice of safe instruction and guidance is part of our promise to empower people in their pursuit of better health and well-being by creating a community of strength, friendship, and humility.

The Tai Chi Forms We Practice

Our courses and workshops practice the forms, principles, and techniques developed from Dr. Paul Lam's 40-year research and practice of these generational Tai Chi forms. His shared knowledge is instilled in TCHI's 12 years of standard practice. Our organization strives to increase the awareness of using Tai Chi for Health as a betterment of overall well-being.
